Top Ten Authors I Own the Most
Woo I like this list, friends! You know why? Because my answers are going to be really different. A lot of times with Top Ten Tuesdays I feel like my answers are always the same books. Not this week! My most-books-owned authors are completely different from the norm. YAY! The only thing is that I only have nine authors here, and that’s because I had a TON of authors who I own the same number of books for and I didn’t feel like including them all here.
Books owned: All 8 novels in the Bridgertons series
If you love historical romance, then don’t pass by Julia Quinn’s Bridgertons series. They’re seriously fun and funny and you’ll love this crazy huge family forever.
Books owned: All 10 currently released Pink Carnation books
More historical romance! Huzzah! I’m two books behind with this series, but I love them. Very fun, very sexy, and they have a slightly different structure than most historical romances: there’s also a contemporary framing device. Not always my favorite part, but it’s something interesting!
Books owned: All 7 Harry Potter books
Of course J.K. is on this list. I even own more than one copy of some of the Harry Potter books. Next purchase? AUDIOBOOKS. Bring it.
Books owned: All 5 Percy Jackson books, 2 Kane Chronicles books, 4 Heroes of Olympus books
WOW, Rick Riordan has a lot of books out. Obviously, I love Percy Jackson. The Kane Chronicles wasn’t as good as the other two series, in my opinion, so I’m missing the last book in that series, but Percy and the Heroes of Olympus series are both excellent. I am dying for his Viking series, though. DYINGGGG VIKINGSSSS.
Books owned: All 5 currently released A Song of Ice and Fire books, plus 3 graphic novels
WORD, I’m a fan of graphic novel versions of my favorite books. I still need to read these graphic novel versions, but I just like knowing I have them.
Books owned: All 8 currently released Outlander novels, plus one audiobook
The 8th book in this series–one of my FOREVER favorites–just came out so I haven’t read it yet, but I already love the look of it. And obviously I’m beyond stoked for the show.
Books owned: All 4 Wolves of Mercy Falls books, 4 copies of THE SCORPIO RACES (one audiobook, one eBook, two print), and the first 2 books in The Raven Boys series plus an audiobook of THE RAVEN BOYS
WHEW. So, I own lots of Maggie books. Mostly because I love her, and because THE SCORPIO RACES is one of my very favoritest books. I’ll be buying the audio of THE DREAM THIEVES as well for a reread.
Books owned: All 21 currently released Stephanie Plum books
I’m way behind on reading these, but I do own them all. My mom and sister read these books, too, so they’re all caught up. I’m just about ready for this series to be finished, though.
Books owned: the first 10 books in the Amelia Peabody series
I haven’t read books in this series in a long time, but they’re super fun. Historical fiction, Egyptology, mysteries. This series has 19 books in it, and they kind of follow the same structure, but the characters are whip-smart and funny. Good times!
Amy, I love this list! I, too, have lots of J.K. Rowling and Janet Evanovich; just can’t get enough! I have been seeing so many people post/talk about Diana Gabaldon that I may just have to carve out some space/time to get into these books. Great post!
When I do this topic, Julia Quinn will also be on my list. I adore her to pieces!! Also Julie Garwood. And heck yeah to Harry Potter. I own so many copies of that series.
I don’t own the Percy Jackson books, but I’m feeling the need to.
